The interval is big. Works great

Works as advertised. My only advice is to go a size smaller than your desired distance. I have 1/8 but I think they are big and between 1/8 and 1/4.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • 0

Not a panacea, but it works

Useful for smoothing the edges of large tiles. Sometimes they break when installed, sometimes they don't break when removed. They are RIDGID compatible.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Waste of Money: Building Materials

Total waste of money. Many of these tabs do not break or break off as advertised. Therefore, one must use a drill and a hammer to remove it. They level, but I'd rather carefully measure and install the tiles with my spirit levels. I would say these are tricks.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Will not work with waterproof foam wall panel

I am very happy using them on 8x32 tile floors. However, when I tried them on a wall with a Schlueter Kerdi waterproof foam board, all the floor boards broke through the foam trying to break them. I had to cut them out of the joint between the tiles with a saw, leaving a moisture-resistant foam sheet with holes. Fortunately, this was not in an area where significant amounts of water would fall. Found a much better alignment system with interchangeable metal T-pins.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Hard to say

Works but is expensive

Works BUT expensive compared to wedge straighteners. I did a major bathroom renovation and spent more than I wanted on these things. but they worked fine in the end. You, red spinners and goggles are sold SEPARATELY.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some bugs

A must have for plank tile

Being my first time installing plank tile I think this is a must have. The spinners are large enough to add the necessary pressure for them to settle. I recommend the outer row, when you're done or finished place a trash tile underneath until you can access it again. Grandsons loved breaking them, it cost me a trip to the milk queen the next day.

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • Working speed

Works well but can add complexity for hobbyists.

They really work as advertised and are very helpful when it comes to leveling up. But there's a slight learning curve if you've never tiled before. You need to make sure they are placed under the tile but over a thin layer (grout). If you break them, you must do it in the direction of the grout line, otherwise there may be fragments between the tiles. They can also complicate minor adjustments when trying to keep straight lines.

Pros
  • Annual Trial
Cons
  • Updates

Decent, Useful, but think ahead!

I've tiled a lot of bathrooms and they're not bad. They work with hard tops, which is great if you already have them. The reason Rigid makes them at 1/16th intervals is that the breakpoint works a lot better when removing than it does here. They take a lot of force to pull them off and I would never use them on walls or floor tiles 1/4 inch thick or less. They should be very tight, only clogging along the grout line. some vise to grab the remaining few until I get into a rhythm. Any and all…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Clarity
