No chew toys. My dog didn't know that.

I got this item for the dog class where the dog will hold the item until asked. Unfortunately, I let him slip and he ended up chewing. Of course it still works.

Pros
  • High test scores for hold and durability
Cons
  • Useless features

My dog likes to chew it

I liked the bright white color and durability. However, my dog just wanted to chew on it. My dog chewed through the plastic and now I'm worried the chips won't go down his throat. This item was added to the cart just two days later.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • There are nuances

The quality wasn't impressive.

Super disappointed with the quality of the goods on this order. Look I understand they will break with use etc but when they are NEW out of the box and already clearly badly finished that is not normal.

Pros
  • Doping πŸ”₯
Cons
  • There are problems

Sizes are disabled for learning and behavioral tools

Sizes are very deceptive. A 3 inch dumbbell actually has 4 inches between the ends. In other words, order one size smaller than you think you need and it will probably be right. The one I received is perfect for a Border Collie, unfortunately I ordered it for a Sheltie.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Almost OK

He refused to take it as a horse naturally wouldn't take the bit

My dog will never be a show dog but I needed him for training courses. He refused to take it as a horse would naturally refuse to take the bit. So I gave it to another dog whose owner said he does very well with it, even better than his wooden dog that had splinters.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Fits

Notches very easy best for dogs

Didn't think it would have notches after first use. Our Malinois managed to make a serious mark after the first use. I did a bit of counting on a score but not that serious. I was looking for a "flashy" dumbbell that didn't look like we'd screwed it up. I thought maybe it's because he's used to wearing IGP1s, they weigh about the same.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • No
