DO NOT buy electronic training collars

This product just doesn't work. Difficult to turn on and off. I have to be in shock to get even the slightest reaction from my pet. i want her back

Excellent collar fits perfectly. Pairs easily with remote control

Purchased to add a new bow set. It fitted straight away with no problems. Works exactly like the first collar that came with the Arc remote. Perfect for my lab. She weighs 60 pounds.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Best Buy in Electronic Training Collars

We like our Dogtra collars, but 4 stars because the ARC style seems to slip down the neck more often than the classic style. We tried tightening the collar after Manuel, but still to no avail. Other than that I still think this is the best collar and would buy it again.

Pros
  • Free for Educational Use
Cons
  • Operation Speed

A Longtime Dogtra Customer

We love the Dogtra brand, especially these collars. We got our first German Shepherd collar almost 3 years ago and it has been in the ocean, pool and hiking trails. So when we got our second shepherd, it wasn't difficult to get an additional recipient. Pairing is easy and these collars last so long!

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Crumpled

Vibration is too low

Range is good and this is a good company but vibration is too low on this particular model. Also turning on and off by matching red dots isn't the best system. It's difficult to hit the dots and takes a few tries before it actually shuts down. I have another model from this company that works great; It's better to vibrate and it's easier to turn the button on the collar.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

I was not disappointed. I might have to charge it once a day.

I have 3 dogs that are trained to wear e-collars. I have used e-collar technology but had so many issues with these collars that I decided to give Dogtra a try. I was not disappointed. I might have to charge it once a week if that's the case. And I use the collar every day. The good thing is that it comes with a lanyard. So if I accidentally drop it, I wrap it around my wrist to keep it from falling. It's nice to have a collar that I can really count on.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Quality

Beware of getting a collar that doesn't work.

I bought this collar for our second dog. I plugged it in and started using it. Our dog did not respond to the collar. I spoke to our dog trainer, she found out that he was not getting any signal from the remote control. We both tried to fix the collar but it still doesn't work. I have a $150 e-collar that isn't working. Since the first collar and remote worked perfectly, I figured I would be on the safe side with this collar. So yes, the box is long gone. The collar lights up, charges, but does
