DOM Gorilla Clip: Maximize Bike Storage with Gorilla Cage & Monkii Cage Compatibility Review

I had two of these forks on a fat bike and rode very rough terrain at high speeds each holding 3-4 pounds. They work! However, keep in mind that any surface mount mounting system will exhibit some movement. I suggest using heavy duty double sided tape underneath and sealing them very securely. The concave shape adapts perfectly to the forks and tubes of the main frame and overall it's a great product.

I used two of these on my Trek Fuel EX forks with two Salsa Anything HD cages. At the end of my 60-mile hike around Catalina Island, one of the anchorages (and the cage attached to it) rotated 90 degrees. When in doubt, I give this product four stars. The weight in the cage was less than 4 pounds and I thought I tightened the zip ties fairly tightly, but maybe I didn't. It worked, the stuff sacks didn't end up in the bike and I live to write about it.

Ideally, Gorilla would like this part to work as a "system" along with the other two: you need a Gorilla bag , a special bag frame and this part for attaching the bag frame to the front fork. Revain didn't sell all three (the main frame of the bag was sold out) when I ordered this, so be warned you may need to shop around.
