I have an English Bulldog that does not easily get into an SUV and is too heavy to lift. It took her a while to get used to it, but now she gets it and we both appreciate it.

great product! The ladder is very strong and doesn't flex when my 70 lb dog climbs the ladder. The hook is great for attaching to the trunk lock, but is not necessary. The only downside is that it's a bit tight when unfolded, but I think it will loosen up as I use it more.

Very durable, my penis is 90 pounds and suffers from arthritis. It took him a while to get used to the idea of getting in the back of the car, but now it took him 4 tries to figure it out. My dog didn't act confidently and might have tried if the steps were wider. I am sorry to reconfigure the product.

My dogs are 12 and 14 years old now and it's not easy for them to jump in the trunk of my SUV. I tried the ramp but they were uncomfortable using it; it was also too tight. But these steps will use them. They're wider, which helps. But I think it's easier for them to use steps - a safer foundation than a ramp. The steps are strong, easily foldable, adjustable in spacing and have a hook for attaching to the rear of the car.

I have a 50lb girl who isn't sure about regular stairs so I wasn't sure how she would handle it but I wanted her to able to climb onto my bed and it's a platform bed - there's no way she can jump 30 inches for that. It took several attempts to get her up with treats and half carried her to get her back down but now she goes up so high.. My only complaint is that the stairs don't lock so one day they collapsed them - now I hold her up when she goes down.

The product description said there were boards under the steps, but the steps still gave a little when my dog stepped on them. My dog is eccentric and won't walk on anything that isn't quite tight so they didn't fit us and we ended up returning them. That being said, I think they're great for a small dog or someone who is less concerned about having a little sag underfoot.
