Good for what I need it for

I agree with other reviews about bird smell. However, it's a good product for what I needed it for (which was to dip cotton balls in it to start a fire).

It smells like clover honey and little globules that make it easier to melt.

Smells like clover honey! After reading other product reviews I was concerned that the smell of beeswax would be off, but this one was pleasant. This is my first time using beeswax so I love that it comes in 4 ounces and the little beads make it melt easily. I also like that it's made in the USA. I chose this one over other Amazon products that claimed to be 'organic'. (Really? How do you control where they fly?). I used the lip balm formula and was happy with the result.

Finally REAL American Beeswax!

Finding real beeswax has become very difficult. Much of what you see online is even advertised as "clean," mixed with other waxes, and often smells of smoke and rotting corpses. I'm not sure what terrible conditions these smells create for the bees, but I'd rather buy from a small American company that knows exactly how to take care of their bees. This stuff is great, smells delicious, and comes in little lozenges that are easy to melt. I look forward to using them in my lotions and candles…
