I have a DonJoy knee brace and it is very important.

Knee straps dig into the skin without this padding. I find it much more comfortable to wear the liner underneath. Good fit and comfort and support for my worn knee.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Expensive

Excellent, comfortable, elastic but slips a bit on the leg.

Comfortable, stretches a bit, the material doesn't keep the temperature, which is very good. The only thing that is not so good is that this one slips on the foot when you move a little more compared to some other brands. You can always flip it upside down and cover the brace itself a bit and that helps keep it in place but still slips.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • poorly thought out

It will be again when I need another

I had knee surgery and still lead a very active sporting life. It came in handy after surgery to reduce post-surgery swelling. Also came in handy after doing PT for my knee. Knowing that if I play a little harder it will come in handy. It's just not for your knee, it can be used on other body parts as well. I will do it again if I need it. But it will last a long time because it is also very well built.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

It was great but didn't work at all

I have an articulating knee brace and purchased this product to prevent the knee brace from slipping off my leg as per the product description. It was great, but it didn't work at all. In fact, the clamp slipped off more easily when I tried the socket. I would not recommend the product and am returning it. I didn't want to choose the "I hate it" category. I think there should be a category called "It doesn't work".

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons

Comfortable but didn't fit me (YMMV)

This sleeve is very comfortable but I'm sending it back. I give 3 stars because the quality seems ok. The problem, for me at least, was that the sleeve came down to the ankle but not to the thigh. The thigh area is what I need coverage for, more so than the calves. Also, it didn't seem to matter how tight I closed the splint, it kept falling off. After 3 attempts to tighten the shackle and each time it fell off, I removed the bushing and the shackle falling issues were gone.

  • Satisfied so far

  • Not bad but...

no joy in don joy is best in splints, splints and bandages

I think you understand I'm not a fan of Don Joy knee pads. The most durable knee brace ever made. it hurts to look at that. and of course it hurts to wear it. This notion requires an awkward level above 10 to get off the charts. When they designed it, I think it was a sadistic medieval design that they dug up and put into production. I don't invent this stuff. It would be better for you to wrap a saran around your knee than for that clumsy bull animal. but buy it if you like torture, I'm sure…

Pros
  • Everything in order!
Cons
  • Reliability

Don't lie down! with Braces, Splints and Supports

Bought this cuff to protect my leg from chafing/rubbing while wearing the brace, particularly the thigh under the top of the brace. Without any protection, this spot on my thigh gets soggy after wearing the brace all day (like on a hike). Unfortunately, the sleeve doesn't hold up and the upper part of the sleeve slides down and folds in the bandage area between the knee joint and the upper part. I tried pulling the sleeve up and over the rail but that didn't work - it wasn't long enough anyway.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Living in it post knee surgery with orthotic protector

5ft 9in 160lbs F. Purchased the day after a partial meniscus removal, my ACL graft removal and tibial tunnel bone grafting. Needless to say I was swollen and sick and the hospital bandage and bandage were already driving me insane. This sleeve runs warmer but I agree, it provides the perfect compression, comfort and thickness to protect cuts and skin from knee brace ice and pressure. It slides very well and easily and was not painful to pull after surgery. I've been staying in it for 6 days now

Pros
  • Certified

  • Large and bulky

Soft and comfortable good for leg and foot support

This is a good quality underwear. I prefer a slim fit so when the size chart put me between M and L I ordered M and it fit me perfectly. This undersuit is soft and comfortable and gently hugs my leg before I put on the brace. In that upper M-size range, there's barely enough wiggle room to grab at a quandary to pull them up. I like to pull it up until the bottom is about an inch below where the bottom strap wraps. Then I pull the bodice up until it stops before sliding the bottom seam. It's a…
