Great product but it took the paint off the walls. We only installed it for 2 days while waiting for the wall protection bumpers to arrive. This was enough to remove all of the paint from where the bumpers were attached. Be sure to buy wall protection when buying!

What junk! I needed a gate to separate the kitchen from the hallway and this is a large opening an inch smaller than the maximum for this gate. There are no ribs at the joints, so it wriggles like a snake under pressure. It took my dogs 2 days to figure out how to get him to open the door with a few rocking motions.

After purchasing another baby gate and looking at various product reviews, I finally pulled the trigger and got this one. And let me tell you it's worth every penny. It is strong, long and has a wide entrance with two "locks" so it is difficult for small children to open it accidentally. Great product and I can only recommend it. Super easy to install but I recommend hiring a wall sitter to keep your walls in good condition.

Easy enough to install and I can live with that, but. The door is therefore not quite straight when installed. The frame has a slight bend where the extensions connect. Maybe it's designed that way, but I don't know why. I will figure out how to glue, bolt or screw the rebar at the joint to keep the frame straight. Although the gate is made of a durable material, the flexing of any expansion under pressure creates a "weak" feel.

We were looking for a very wide/tall gate for our stair case to keep our dogs out of the basement. This gate is all we need (so far), easy to assemble, pleasing to the eye, strong and wide enough for my short/wide frame to fit through easily. I like that it closes and locks by itself. It's only been a few days but I love this item. We have moved and don't have it. A tool shed of any kind and a lot of work at home too, so this room is full of dangerous things for my little ones. Easy to install (read the instructions and don't cut the big zip tie that says don't cut before installing!) Looks good for what it is . Not the strongest when adding extensions to fit a larger door. It still works and stays in place, but it flexes fairly easily at the connection point, and I'd recommend installing guards on the attachment points on the wall so it doesn't ruin the drywall. If like me you like cutting zip ties and tags before installing things, don't do it with this gate! I mean you could, but the instructions say it's easier to install if you cut the LAST's zip tie. But it wasn't difficult to install. Clear "wheels" on the bottom spin to push the gate against the walls. But I had to alternate between the gate door and the "wheels" to make sure the door isn't too tight to open and close when tightened. This is probably why you shouldn't cut the zip tie first. What
