I've bought these headlights in the past so I bought two more sets this month. One set works great, the other doesn't. Quality control is not acceptable. Update: The seller contacted me. They switched manufacturers and refunded my money. I'm impressed that you read the review and did your best to get it right. You can't ask for more from any company. I recommend buying from them.

I bought a set of these lights a few years ago and they have worked great and lasted many years. The only reason I replaced them was because some of the individual bulbs were out all the time and the wires were getting brittle. So I recently ordered more sets. Within a couple of weeks one stopped working and the other now has only half the light and that's the final end which doesn't make any sense. Too bad the quality is so different than it used to be. p

We received our lamps a few days ago. Installed them on our trees outside last night. Pros: Great price, they seem to be pretty good quality, good length. Very easy to install our tree. We really like them so we just ordered another box of 2. Despite receiving very little sunlight, they turned on easily at sunset. Cons: The lights could be brighter, my garden is pretty dark and I was hoping they would give us some extra light. Not much, but adding a few strands can help!

I ran this light along the garden fence. A week later one of the strands stopped working. replacement ordered. I had to unwind the old strands and hang new ones. My plan was to just replace the broken thread and send what I replaced. Well, I ended up having to replace the other one too. Right now I'm frustrated and haven't sent the broken ones back because it's too much work to rewind them off my fence. While they were working they were just great. I am really impressed with these lights. The different modes are great. There are many to choose from. Even on a cloudy day, they glow for 4 hours. Bright sunny day and they'll run all night. You don't have to turn them on or off with a timer. Just wear and forget. On cold nights, not having to worry about unplugging is great, and they turn off when the sun comes up. 72 feet means you can often double it and get more brightness. I bought 3 sets of white DooVee solar strings. The light barrier and the control (two buttons) are connected to the lighting set. The first button turns on the TV, the second toggles 8 modes (flash, fade, flash like a rave, flash like a cod, etc.). Installed all 3 sets in one day and set them to "on - don't blink" mode. Two of the three sets randomly switch to demo mode, where all 8 modes switch every 10 to 15 seconds. Whenever I reset the controller back to "on - no blinking" it reverts to…

Put them on a week ago enjoying unseasonably warm sunny days. They worked great! They came around 5pm when it was getting dark and continued working at 2am when I got up to eat something. But then we had a cloudy day. No rain but very gloomy. The light didn't come on. My little solar powered running lights worked, but decorative lights didn't. Then it rained for two days. But today it was sunny and the lanterns were on, so you can leave them out in the rain. These are very small "magic" lights.

Loved these lights when they worked the first night; The 200 LEDs lit for about 1 hour but I just took them out of the boxes (I bought 6 boxes). However, they now work (in flashing mode) for less than an hour each night after being in direct sun all day or not at all, as shown in one of the photos.
