Screw works exactly as it should, fits perfectly. The main downside: if you need to replace the bolt, you've probably lost the nut that came with it. This DOES NOT INCLUDE THE NUT that will keep you from installing it until you find/buy it.

My tailgate didn't close properly. Looking at it, I noticed that the plastic surrounding the striker is gone. So I bought two new ones, they were easy to install. They fit perfectly on my 2002 Silverado. Now the tailgate closes tightly.

Made in China. It's terrible quality and doesn't even come close to OEM standards. The plastic sleeve deforms when the striker strikes the first time when the gate is closed. Buy OEM, time for such things if you can. Otherwise use it or even make your own liner by cutting something with a similar diameter.

It changed the world. Two screws to remove the taillight and then a 13mm socket wrench to remove the support screw. IMPORTANT - there is some play front to back that can be used to adjust the gate latch. I slid these latches to the front of the truck and the gate now latches nice and firmly in place with very little wobble.
