Fits Ranger 1997: Belt tensioner

Fixed my old belt ten. Came out and it was an amazing purchase. Plus Prime, so I got it just in time to fix my truck right before work.

Fantastic discount on belts, hoses and pulleys

Works great on my 93 Ranger. It creaks a little, but that's normal for a new part. But that's more than the $80 the parts dealer wanted.

Worked great for parts

Worked great on my 2001 Ford Ranger. I don't normally fix my cars myself, but after finding this part in the driveway under my truck and figuring out what it is, I found some YouTube videos on how to replace it. I took a chance with this $40 part and asked a friend to help me install it (I couldn't have done it myself). The included instructions are useless but the YouTube videos helped a lot.

Arrived with no bolts and fell out of my truck after 20 days. Expected to be properly dressed.

I didn't come off my truck with bolts and felt, I don't know what kind of bolts to buy and now I'm afraid to drive my truck, can't contact the buyer or leave a message , and I don't know if I want to return it because I'm working but I find the right size screw and washer if you look online it should come with the screw and washer. So what's up, email me bavk and fix my problem or I'll go back and buy elsewhere.

Fits 98 Ranger 2.5 with better belts, hoses and pulleys

Fits 98 Ford Ranger 2.5 but slightly different than the original I got for the truck. The stock tensioner has a recess in the bolt hole. This tensioner has no indentation. That way, when the bolt is inserted into the tensioner, it doesn't protrude much from the other end of the tensioner. This means that when the screw is tightened, it is held on the carriage with just a few threads. Otherwise the tensioner is perfect. Edit: September 9, 2014 I've driven it for over 50,000 miles with noโ€ฆ
