Dorman 55195 Standard Utility Cable Review

Perfect hand throttle cable for my 1984 25ft Command Bridge Bayliner Cruiser with a Chevy 350. That extra length was a must. Thank you Dorman!

Used to control the brake on a vintage Belleview winch. Have a longer block, then cut it off. I also lubricated the cable very well to avoid friction in the long body (which I cut off at the end but still needed lubrication).

This will not move effectively even after the bushing has been filled with oil. Further investigation revealed that the inner wire was slightly bent in two specific places, preventing it from functioning properly. Both exceeded the standard 5 or 6 foot length of most of these cables. I received a refund and threw the item away after trying to figure out a way to use it for something. My choke has since been completed using PE tubing and picture hanging wire (55 pounds)! A little oil in the pipe
