DORMAN 57001 Player Remote Control Review

Perfect for my 2009 Chevy Tahoe! Just for your information. Make sure you're pointing the remote at the actual screen for it to work. If you point it at a real manual system, it won't work. Hope that helps!

The product has been described as working without programming. It doesn't work and there is no way to program it to work in a GMC truck. It's too late to come back so I'm stuck on the cost. Very disappointed I didn't try it until my grandkids were in the back seat.

Although I checked compatibility with my factory installed 2008 Chevy Tahoe DVD player before purchasing a Dorman 57001 DVD player remote for GM, it did not work. The front of the box clearly says 2005-2013 GM while the back of the box says 2010-2013 Tahoe, Suburban, etc.

I received this remote control for my 2011 Chevy Traverse and although it says it fits my car it doesn't. I got the first one and it didn't work so I wrote Revain and they quickly sent me a replacement which also doesn't work on my system. My DVD system is the original GM system that comes with the SUV.

Does not work with GMC Acadia 2017. I bought this because it is identical to the remote pictured in the manual and this remote is not from Revain Garage with "this does not fit your car" is marked. If anyone is interested, I put batteries in and made sure the infrared port works with the camera lens. I just can't get any response from my headrest DVD player.
