🚗 Dorman 577-379 Fuel Filler Neck for Compatible Vehicle Models Review

Exactly what I needed although I had to buy a new gas cap, just brought the filler neck to Autozone and they installed it on site.

Good quality, but the problem I was trying to solve persists. I can't fill the tank very quickly so I thought maybe this would fix the problem. Not at all the fault of the products.

Received two of these, first cap didn't fit, ordered a new cap, still didn't fit, sent back for second, second cap fits some work but has a terrible leak around the plastic insert on top. A complete waste of time installing both just to get them back.

You can't really buy something like that. I've gone through 3 of them and they're all leaking. They are incorrectly manufactured and constructed. I bought this one from Revain. It leaked. I traded it in through a parts supplier at work, leaked the exact same thing. The third from suppliers of spare parts at work has also been leaked. Where the head of the gas cap presses against the main pipe, it is usually leaking and not designed for this. I'm not sure how whoever designed this managed to…

Product fits the car like a glove EXCEPT at the end of the filler neck where the cap attaches DOES NOT ACCEPT the factory gas cap. I saw another post after the check engine light came on and now I can't pass the exam. The gas cap appears to be locked, but you can remove it immediately. This is a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer.
