They have a little red rubber grommet deep inside these caps and the one I used screws on well. The gasket is useful to create a proper seal to maintain air pressure. Based on a quick count at opening, they turned out to be supplying 50 capsules. So far, so good.

I never thought I would review tire valve caps but they are great! They are LONG and cover the entire stem. Also, they are made of very high quality hard plastic (not soft mush plastic). They move smoothly to the valve stem and stay on it. For the price there are no complaints at all. And they look good too - better than in the picture.

I bought these for my husband to use in the used car lot. I believe when you buy a car it should have tire covers. I don't know where they usually go, and I rarely see a car or truck with all four barrel covers intact. Just gives the finishing touch. Also, I can take one now and later when mine disappears.

These are the stock TPMS caps that OEMs use on the black rubber valve stems. I went to Discount Tire to change the tires on my 2007 Mustang GT along with the stock TPMS system. Not only did they leave the original TPMS on the wheels, they accidentally used 4 different valve caps. These valve stem caps slide over the rubber base of VDO TPMS sensors while OEM Ford valve stems fit perfectly. Overall: 5/5 stars.

I recently had a leak on my 2016 WRX at the tire shop. As usual, I had a valve stem cap from their cap basket that didn't fit. TPMS on the WRX and many Subaru's have a long valve stem cap (0.73") and the stock valve stem caps look weird as most of the threads are exposed. These caps are almost the same as the OEM caps with a few minor differences. Gasket inside like OEM Oddly enough there aren't many aftermarket offerings for valve stem caps this size.

My problem: I was having trouble accessing the valve stem caps in the trim ring on our car's wheels and wanted a longer valve stem cap so I could remove them more easily.
