The product arrived defective. The collet nut has not been properly machined causing the collet to not seat properly in the holder. This wasn't a simple problem of higher beats, it rendered the product unusable. I have since ordered a replacement and will update when it arrives.

Just a warning, the product description is different from the one sent to me when I ordered. 1) The picture shows a hexagonal top. Mine is made for use with a box wrench (the box wrench was included so it doesn't matter) 2) The drawbar description above is for 3/8" 16 threads per inch (which is what my factory uses). cartridge, which I received requires a 1/2" 13 tpi drawbar. I can't tell you how it works until I fix the drawbar issue. However, it fits my ER-40 collets perfectly!
