🔥 Dorman Engine Cooling Fan Assembly for Jeep Models - 620-001, Black Review

Bought for a 1998 Jeep Cherokee. Inserting it is a bit tricky as it is a bit thicker than the normal one. I removed the top support and tilted the radiator back slightly. Simple input and works great.

After the stock electronic fan blades started falling off and vibrating I replaced them with these and they fit and work perfectly in my 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ. The blade design is different from the stock fan I removed, but it doesn't seem to affect its performance.

Works great! Installation took 15 minutes. The easiest way is to rotate the fan 45 degrees to get it in place without moving the water pump. The fan I ordered on 5/19/15 had curved blades just like the stock fan. The build quality is great! Also included is a connector that was needed for my Cherokee xj 99 running 4.0. No louder than the stock fan. Very satisfied!

Looks solid. I have a Cherokee XJ 98. The installation made me laugh. It doesn't slip there. I removed the screws from the top bar that runs through the front edge of the radiator. Then I pulled hard and barely got to the spot. Now everything is plastic. plastic container. Plastic fan. plastic government. plastic society. Organize and make the world a better place than plastic. While this is indeed a direct replacement for the original fan, I had to do a little fiddling to install it: this fan has a nut that protrudes from the center of the fan hub and does it thick enough that it doesn't slip past the power steering pump pulley (the old fan slipped out). The easy fix was to remove the main fan cover so there was enough room to slide the fan down and then snap it into place. Actual dimensions are 12.2 x 13.2 inches, not 17 x 17 like the Revain. The trick to installation is to turn the side with the warning sticker (above) to the driver's side of the car and it slides all the way down, the nut everyone is complaining about comes off easily, after that you have to unscrew 3 screws and a nut.
