🔧 Dorman 620-039 Engine Cooling Fan Assembly: Perfect fit for Chrysler & Dodge Models, Black Review

This fan assembly has failed about 4 times in 160,000 miles. Always the same problem: The fans are separate from the electric motors. The OEM shattered into pieces and hit the radiator. Most of the time it's crap, but I don't know of any other choice.

It's plug and play. I tied the wires because they were too close to the pulleys for my comfort. It took me about 30 minutes to install at 05 300c. It's obviously not as hard as this one, but so far it's working well.

Corresponds to the description. Is working! I didn't know my old one wasn't working properly until it completely failed and I installed this build. Decent price too. I used zip ties to clear the wire harness. never mind Installed within a few months. It is significantly quieter than the factory part.

Purchased in April 2017. The fan flew out of its bracket and has stopped spinning after 4 months. The fan was an exact replacement and has worked well for 4 months. Connection problems were minor. One fan is still running, hopefully long enough to get a replacement. I understand that sometimes things break through no fault of your own, I just hope the company honors the warranty.

This product is terrible. Received it around 1st September 2016 and on 04/12/2017 the fan stopped working due to both fan blades separating from the assembly. Thank goodness they were both sticky and didn't hit my radiator. It looks like the metal fastener was not well designed and broke off, requiring both fans to be removed. I thought I was making a deal but I had a crash and ended up with 172 + 97, I paid for it out of my own pocket. Lesson learned.

Canceled after 14 months. The nuts that hold the fans to the motors appear to have loosened over time, allowing the fans to spin freely and become irreparably damaged. I noticed this when the fan motors were running but couldn't cool the motor while driving. The warranty offers a free replacement, which isn't particularly helpful when you're assuming a part will work the first time. I have already paid to have it repaired with better parts and I will think twice before using Dorman again.

First, the build quality seems good and the component itself looks good. It's a pity, at least for me, that the connections are different than the ones I got from the factory. Full disclosure, I'm not a mechanic AT ALL so maybe I'm clueless. I looked it up on YouTube and it seemed like a no-brainer. Two bolts and a belt. Update: It's August 6th, 2019 and the fan is still working fine here in Southern California. Despite small flaws, it gets 5 stars because it is better than the OEM fan in terms of performance and possibly durability. There is a wiring harness attached to your OE fan that needs to be transferred to this product.
