Good Price Fan Motor

This is a common essential part for some GM/Chevy models. If your fan is not running at a speed, open yours and eventually find the burned contact. The white retaining clip will sometimes burn out from heating the wire [usually 4 or 5 speed]. Not sure what is breaking the chain yet, but this is the solution. The actual resistance rarely fails. It's about 70% less than 8 years ago to fix the problem. Would give 5 stars if a spare plug was included. ;)

EXCELLENT AND CHEAP! in Blower Motor

I used this to replace a burned joint on a Chevy Silverado '05 ATV! Heavy Duty Wires! I would pay $50 for it in the auto zone! Visit the following website for installation instructions: sparkys-answers.com/2008/07/2005-chevrolet-silverado-blower-inop.html. Make sure you compare the old connection to the new one so the wires are properly connected. I used this connector with the following resistor assembly: ACDelco 15-81087 Fan Motor Resistor Assembly

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not Automatic

Worked very well - switch and relay

This worked great after my resistor failed and the original plug and wires melted. I had a problem trying to use the crimp connectors that came with it. After crimping the first one, I pulled a little and the wire came straight out. I tried crimping it back as tight as I could and the wire still came out easily. Instead, I opted for a toy soldier and heat shrink tubing. This is quite a thick wire so I used a 100 watt iron. It worked great, air conditioning and heating are working again.

  • Easy to use
Cons

Really bad customer service

This seller's customer service in particular is very poor. This product has smaller wire gauges than the original GMC wires found in truck wires, which will overheat and begin to make poor contact. The fan turns itself on and off when you use the 4th or 5th speed in the fan. And when I contacted the seller he told me he would use omh to verify. Here it is for the seller and everyone else to know. Ohm measures continuity or resistance. This product has poor CONDUCTIVITY due to the smaller…
