Just the thing to fix our van door!

Just what we needed to fix my new (used) van door. We initially bought a motor, but then we realized it was this particular cable. My husband fixed it perfectly and it works like a charm.

Fits my 2005 caravan with minor modifications. I .

Fits my 2005 trailer with a small modification. I removed the plastic guide from the old door snake and taped it around. The total exchange time is about 20 minutes. Tools only, Phillips screwdriver and tape.

Perfect fit for my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT

Perfect fit for my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT. I'm not a mechanic. After watching a YouTube video, it took me about 45 minutes to install, and all I needed was a Phillips head screwdriver, pliers, and a small flat head screwdriver.

Saved me a headache and a lot of money!

The dealer offered me almost $300 to replace this, my local mechanic said he didn't know where to find this part and I needed it direct from the factory. It fits exactly as it should. It was very easy to install, but I've been messing around with vehicles for quite a while. Even for people who don't know much about cars, this will be easy to do. Used it on my 2005 Dodge Caravan SXT.

You can do it! in Lighting and Electricity

Yes, Dodge Grand Caravans have a problem with the sliding door wiring harness. Having studied this issue and calculated the price, you can easily replace this device yourself. The dealer wanted $500. It's not worth it. After watching a video on YouTube, I replaced it myself and everything worked perfectly. If you have this problem, order this part and then search youtube.com for instructions on how to install the wire harness. Took me about 20 minutes with no problems.

Great product but the plastic frame around the wires broke and now we can see

The product is really very good. However, the plastic frame around the wires broke today. And I'll see how good they are in the guarantee. Procedure. Something happens and something breaks and I'm looking for a replacement. The product has worked really well and I don't want to bankrupt the company before I give them a chance to replace it. Once they do, I'll have to buy the other side.

Easy to install and works like a charm. Great price too.

Dorman designed this harness better than Mopar in my opinion. The wires appear to be sturdier and a bit longer so as not to strain when opening/closing the doors. We spent hours trying to figure out why our door no longer opens/closes with the remote control or internal buttons. The local dealer or mechanic couldn't figure out what was wrong with our door other than the motor being able to lift. It seemed wrong to me because when the doors are opened or one of the buttons is pressed, the turnโ€ฆ
