Good offer includes a new engine

Arrived quickly, well packaged. Fits easily, no drama. The hardest part of the job was keeping the window from lifting to the up position to keep the window closed until a new build came along. I used two band clamps and a stick on a vertical riser.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • unreliable

Deceant Replacement

Used to replace the right rear window/motor on a 2000 Tahoe [New Body Style]. The fit was perfect and works like it did from the factory. I ended up removing the speaker so I had more room to work. It took about 25 minutes from start to finish. The price seems high but about 35% less than acdelco. Durability has not been rated, still works.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expensive

The item was in good condition and worked as intended. Want .

The part is in good condition and works as expected. Would give 5 stars but apparently the engine part is generic for other uses and I had to drill a hole in the bracket for the wiring harness bracket and the engine had a wiring harness instead of a plug in the car that connected directly to the engine. I had to tie the strap on the side.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • weak

Only lasted 14 months!

We've had our GMC Yukon since 2005, we bought it brand new. After 11 years of ownership, the rear window finally broke. We almost never roll down the windows so we thought we did a good job with the original part. I chose this product hoping that it would last, especially for the price. Unfortunately after a year it got tangled and broke and our window fell against the door. If this product was meant to last longer, it failed!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

An exact replacement for the 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe!

This worked great on a 2005 Chevy Tahoe. My rear passenger window stopped working after 12 years. It was the perfect replacement for the broken part. Just remember to remove the door panel, inner plastic cover, speaker and door handle. You need a window handle so you can lift the window handle to place a window on it. Using a flathead screwdriver, I pushed apart the two rubber supports holding the window before re-inserting it into the door.

Pros
  • Good Value
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Fits and works well for power windows and motors

Fits our '05 Chevy Tahoe and works well. A few good YouTube videos will help with the exchange. The main thing when removing the door panel (which is typical for many GMs) is to loosen a few screws and lift the panel UP, as the plastic of the panel inserts into the door panel from top to bottom. . Watch the video and you will see. Also, use duct tape to hold up the window while you work on it. And don't rip the plastic between the door and the trim, just peel it off and it'll stick again. when…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers

  • Some cons

Do you get what you pay for? Not necessarily.

So the last time I bought this product was 8 years ago. With that in mind, I figured I was getting a pretty good product for the money I spent. The product arrived on time, however the packaging was quite shabby. Not necessarily bad if properly packaged. I opened the package and found a loosely filled box with an item that can be moved freely. Again not bad. As I began to install, I found that both plastic clips were broken. Luckily I was able to reuse my old ones. As I continued the…
