Useless switch for automotive windows

This switch is a complete waste of money if you're looking for a reliable replacement for your automotive window control. I installed this on my vehicle and it failed within a couple of weeks. The switch was unresponsive and made a weird clicking sound.

It fits my MK5 GTI perfectly

This fits my MK5 GTI perfectly and was so easy to replace. Removing the door attachment around it was more difficult, I would suggest using special upholstery tools to avoid damaging it. Too bad after a few months my husband broke my favorite car! :(

Great replacement - Body and Fairing

I didn't get this derailleur because mine was bad but because there appeared to be a paint defect on a 06-09 VW Passat model (I've seen several with this problem) . It affects the switches and the inside door handle where the switch is installed on both the driver and passenger side. The paint seems to rub off and peel off very easily with normal use. After installing the new switch, it looked great, but the handle around it wasn't preserved. Luckily I just wiped the leftover paint off the grip
