Product arrived on time and as described. I installed it with no problems and it came with an o-ring. There are no leaks on the first ignition. Works great so far.

I bought 2 of these and both were unsealed. Both times the fuel filter housing was leaking. I then installed a metal cap and there were no more problems. These caps are the wrong size.

I was trying to thread my 2005 6.0 liter Excursion. It just doesn't fit. The plastic thread was torn enough to make a difference, it just wasn't sealing. What I really don't like is that I have to pay the return shipping costs. I should probably just order the part from Ford.

Fuel spilled into engine compartment during installation. Landing bad - loose. I suspect that a poor choice of material was made and it shrunk too much after the molding process. The head of the 15/16, which was tight on the original part, was quite loose on this one. Also, the drainage holes are shaped rather than drilled and opaque.

***DO NOT BUY*** Replaced a faulty fuel filter cap on my 2006 Ford F-250 with this part. While driving to work on the interstate this cap popped out of the fuel tank and splattered diesel all over the driveway and engine bay. The truck was towed into the store. In short, but not this product. Stick with the Ford part, it's cheaper in the long run!

Broke on my install, didn't even tighten until I broke the plastic nut on top. Of course it's plastic and I tried not to put too much pressure on it and it still broke before fully tightening. As for the delivery, it came a little early from the seller. I may have just received a defective product but I spent the extra dollar and bought this from the sinister diesel. Also sold at Revain, about $80, metal, sealed well.
