Great inside door handle

Bought a right inside door handle for my 2011 Ford F-150 truck that broke. Good product easy to install with online youtube video. Works perfectly!

Better than Ford! Best Replacement Parts

Ford replaced our door handles after a 'recall', shortly after which the new handle that was supplied broke. I installed this handle and it seems more solid than what Ford is installing now. Would I buy again if a doorknob breaks on one of the other doors.

Buy OEM! on body and fairing

While this part looks identical to the OEM; The plastic panel behind the door handle does not snap into place. I had to put double sided tape on the back of the plastic cover to hold it in place. If I had to do it all over again I would spend the extra money and go with the OEM part.

Good enough! - Spare parts

This is a door handle. It works. It wasn't the right color for my truck, but I just swapped out the body panels and kept the spring and grip. Very easy. The OEM had a built-in metal pot that Dorman didn't have. I'm not sure why. It's a fairly simple mechanism. How mine broke remains a mystery. For 39€ I would buy it again. Yes. OEM is no better and that works fine.

Pen works fits and works well

I read the reviews before buying and of course the pen body is too big for a cosmetic board. I ended up using an OEM grip body with a new grip. To pull the handle out you must remove the spring - rotate the handle to the open position and you'll notice slots in the handle to extend the body pins. - remove the handle - put it in the old housing - install the spring

The door panel does not need to be removed. Very important.

Great price. Just as good as the one from the factory. Incredibly easy to install, took about 5 minutes. I have a long cab F150 XLT 2011 with a 3.5 liter engine. The door panel does not need to be removed. You need a small hook-shaped contraption. I used a metal hoof pick. Basically, it's a flathead screwdriver with a 90° angle at the tip (with a handle). Something similar will do.

Pulled handle from frame, used existing frame

Pulled handle from frame, used existing frame that was on my truck. Dorman's frame did not allow for the installation of a decorative overlay that closed the latch on the door. Also, I couldn't get the Dorman frame to snap into the plastic door panel. It was difficult to get out without breaking, but it fits snugly in the factory frame. In fact I like the grip more than the standard, it seems heavier. Time will tell, a month passed, there were no problems.

I installed it in no time and everything was fine until I started installing the fairing.

Ordered this to replace my passenger/front door handle. I installed it in no time and everything was fine until I started installing the fairing that goes under the handle and over the bolt holding the bodywork in place. The trim didn't fit. It was so close, but it didn't fit snugly in the original kit's body, and I knew it would wiggle as it traveled down the road. I ended up removing the entire body by removing the handle from the replacement Dorman 90825 and the handle from the original's…
