Good hubcap for rear F-350

A good replacement for Ford F-350 1992-1987. It doesn't say Ford, but it looks good. It's a bit odd how it attaches and holds up, but I've been everywhere, on the freeway, and still there.

Pros
  • Many positive emotions
Cons
  • Fading

As advertised good for tires and wheels

On time and as advertised. Bought them from another store and came with a Ford logo decal. Not so with these. Very extremely packed to protect the caps. Thanks for that, it's not a gimmick. Still happy!

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • The list goes on.

They don't snap into the rim like the OEMs do.

Perfect for my 1997 Ford F-250 HD. There is a compression ring on the inside of the cover which needs to be tightened over the nuts. If you don't have the right nuts, they won't fit.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not bad but...

IT doesn't stay the way some say in REVIEW!

Cap came off after only a few weeks of use! I have no idea where it came off, but I suspect it came off a gravel road. I've ridden on washboards which is understandable but DON'T SORRY! These are TRUCK hubcaps, which means they have to deal with rough roads. These are very expensive caps that have to be taken off after a few weeks!

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Protection

does not stay on center caps

Both came loose about 1 week after installation. I had to tap the perforator around the ring. Very difficult to install and looked like it would be difficult to remove. Not so, after a few hits they got lost on a long journey. Don't waste money, just put on the nut caps and leave the hub open. As the farmer told me, this is a truck, you have to see this part!

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Requires socket

Spend more money and buy an OEM with four mounting clips.

I bought these for my 1997 F250 after reading many reviews saying they work well but I don't understand how anyone keeps them. I spoke to a Dorman representative and he was confused as well. There is a tapered "ring" that is supposed to hold/grip the lug nuts, but it's soft metal and it's tapered, it's only a matter of time before it falls off. For me it was less than 5 minutes in my entrance. It might fit another style of rim, but all the specs showed it should have worked for mine. Just myโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Out of style

Good aftermarket replacement

For the price this is a good deal. all-metal construction. Appears to be well built. I read some reviews that said it fell off. I found that after flush fitting, by taking my time and working with a rubber mallet, the fit was tight and didn't come loose for me. My guess is that if you don't put it on the jam nuts and get it flush with the rim it may fall off. So far he's ridden a few bumpy dirt roads and several hundred freeway miles. It would have been nice if it had a Ford logo on it, butโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Large and bulky
