Fixed a broken fuel gauge on my 2007 Trailblazer. .

Repairing a broken fuel gauge on my 2007 Trailblazer. Don't spend a fortune on a new pump. Purchase new fuel line clamps in advance. Some will break. Try to get the job done with an empty tank. mine was full It was doable, but it could have been easier!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • New competitors appeared

month of work, everything is fine. Installation wasn't that bad, just remember to get fuel line clamps (800-023) AND 5/8" air line clamps (800-041). Update: 18 months later he started acting like a maniac. for a replacement that will last as long as stock so I don't have to drop the tank again after another 18 months.

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

It took my 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer to pass MOT

. It wasn't the easiest or worst job and it wasn't fun, but damn I saved some money. I've only had it a few weeks but my fuel gauge is working again. I drove it for a few days but the code didn't reset even though the check engine light was off. I used my $13 ODBII reader to clear the codes and then just had to drive it until all but one of my emissions tests were completed, which is all that is required here in Texas for a 2001 or newer car is. He later passed this emissions test after passing

Pros
  • Easy Tuning
Cons
  • Quality
