Easy install on my Silverado. I used a Gates 28491 heater hose and hose clamps from the EVAP canister side to the gas tank. I cleared the codes, started the truck and the Check Engine light went out. I've only been driving the truck for about 30 minutes and it's still good. Really saved me money compared to buying the part at a dealership.

I have an 06 2500hd 6.0 that randomly started idling at low rpm and started shaking. Driven me crazy for 2 weeks. Perfect replacement for my 2007 Silverado NBS. The search tool said it didn't work for my car, but the included pigtail adapter connected perfectly to my electrical wiring harness. I followed other buyers' recommendations by purchasing a 5/8 inch heater hose from my local parts store rather than struggling with the stock hose that was heat shrunk onto the old part. A few feet of hose and a couple of clamps and I was ready to go.

Revain website says this is the correct part. Not correct. My 07 Silverado 6.0 liter 2500HD requires a canister with a hose nipple. It has two. I crawled under the truck and read the part number when I realized it was the wrong part and I got the right one but I could only find one without a hose. I switched the existing hose from the old to the new. Suitable was: ACDelco 214-2149 Professional Vapor Canister Vent Solenoid. About $18. The one that won't fit is a Dorman 911-237 Vapor Canister…
