🚗 Dorman 911-643 Secondary Air Injection Check Valve: Ideal for Lexus and Toyota Models Review

As I said, assembly was very easy. I wish the cable connections were a tougher material, but that's not the carrier's fault. A clip broke and I had to order a new one. Besides, the product is good. It took me less than 30 minutes to install. My truck hasn't idled anymore and hasn't for over a month since I installed this part.

Installed a 2011 5.7 V8 Tundra on June 14th along with two new SMOG pumps. 10 days later I have CEL on, traction control light on and code P0415 (secondary air injection system switching valve B malfunction). I checked both pumps, they work as they should. I thought Dorman was supposed to be the best OEM alternative but I don't think so. Looks like I'm going to the dealership to order a genuine Toyota part.

Great solution! Cleared code p2440 on our Sequoia 08. The pumps can also be problematic (obviously water is getting into them). I took ours out and examined them but they looked dry and fine. That part worked, but it was an all-day routine. You have to remove the air intake and a thousand vacuum lines to get there. Also, he's in a difficult position, so I watched YouTube videos with tips, which helped a lot. I'm not a mechanic but the dealer wants 3k-4k for it so I took a chance

It didn't work for my 2008 Toyota Tundra 5.7 sr5... I spent hours taking the truck apart to replace this part and then putting everything back together. After making sure everything was hooked up and reassembled I went to start the truck up to check if the original codes were gone only to find my 4lo, RCSA, engine check and traction control lighted up along with 16 new codes !
