Waste of Money best in my review

This automotive sensor was a complete waste of money. It failed after just a few weeks of use, causing my car to stall multiple times on the highway. The only pro is that the price was cheaper than other options, but in this case, you get what you pay for. The cons are the poor quality and lack of reliability. Do not waste your time or money on this product.

Pros
  • Accurate and reliable detection of camshaft position.
Cons
  • May experience premature failure over time with regular use.

Looks like it won't last long

Worked for about half a year. The O-ring was dirty and oil was leaking out. I had to replace it again. Update April 24, 2019: Apparently the O-ring is broken here too.

Pros
  • Manufactured to strict technical quality standards
Cons
  • No instructions

Lasts 3 years/25,000 miles vs. Original Mopar 15 years/125,000 miles

75% cheaper than Original Mopar kit, lasts 20% longer. A Mopar part costs 5x more, lasts 5x longer, so it's not really a better or worse VALUE, just the inconvenience of replacing that part more often or failing at the wrong time. FYI, when the camshaft sensor fails, the car stalls/won't start. Sometimes they "start" to fail (set code P0340) and the machine restarts, but once it starts it eventually fails completely. I wrote this review after replacing this faulty part for the second time. Even

Pros
  • No special tools required
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other kits
