They didn't fit right.

The holes didn't match, I had to alter them to make them work and I scratched them so I couldn't get them back so I made sure it worked

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Security

Perfect fit for spare parts

Perfect fit. Well done. Before ordering, check the Subaru parts website to ensure the part number matches exactly. Some of the other negative reviews require a different # part so don't be surprised they don't fit. Factory backers are $160 each, so that's a steal.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Approx.

Mounting holes do not match!

I bought these for a 2004 Subaru Forester. Mounting holes do not match! Good thing the shop I do the work at caught it before the hub was pressed back in. Bought February 2017, just finished working so too late to return. Dissatisfied!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Large and bulky

don't buy better replacement parts

Spent rather wasted 3 hours trying to screw the screws into this so called OEM dust cover had to take it off and drill out with a 1/2 inch drill bit. align with the axis. If you don't have time to burn and don't want to do unnecessary extra work, keep looking and DO NOT BUY THIS DEFECTIVE PRODUCT!

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • disappear

Maybe they're just a bad batch at the moment.

I have to agree with the other reviewer. These are just broken. I have several Subaru cars and can confirm this is not the wrong part, it was made with the wrong holes. I think bolt circle size is disabled. Maybe they're a bad batch right now, but I'll send them back and I won't exchange them. I think I'll get an OEM.

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • Nothing

I spent a day getting them to work

To be honest with Revain, I bought them from RockAuto.com, not Revain. To be fair to those thinking of buying them, I've had a hell of a time fitting them. The four pre-drilled bolt holes in these backplates do NOT match the holes they require on the steering knuckle; Some of them were deflected by almost 1/8 inch. To mount them I had to drill with the biggest drill bit I had, ream with a 3/4" cone reamer for a while, and then file with a round file until I finally got it done. I spent a day…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish
