Works as expected for Trim

Keeps the console lid incredibly closed - much better than elastic cords or zip ties. And best of all: The lid can be opened immediately at the push of a button! Recommend this item for your console cover. You will be surprised how you used to live without him.

Works but needs adjustment

Did not snap into place after installation. The hinge part (where the screws go) was too stiff for the spring to push it high enough to engage. I had to take fine sandpaper and sand down the plastic pins and then spray on some lube to make them spin easily. I reinstalled it and this time it worked. I gave a 4 star rating because I had to do a little work to make it work properly.

It works. Enough said.

2007 Chevy Impala LT with column switch (6 seats). It works. Simple, effective, exchange takes a minute. A little flimsy, but not that the console itself isn't flimsy anymore (thanks for being cheap GM. Love you anyway). And hey, for a few bucks, I can't complain. Now my sunroof stays closed in the center console. However, the delivery took too long. Not that it was an emergency, but I almost put it on hold and forgot about it until one day it showed up in my inbox.
