Dorman Knock Sensor and Harness Kit (926-084) for Compatible Models Review

I should have read the reviews on here before buying and installing these sensors. I replaced some gaskets on my truck and figured since opening it up I might as well replace the knock sensors. (the old ones were fine). These carriers left my check engine light on and both knock sensor codes came two days later. Now I have to spend time replacing it with time I don't have.

Do not buy them, I paid for installation during another repair. Now I have a new code because they are bad and I can't afford to pay someone else to take everything off to replace them again. Poor quality for Dorman, I'm very disappointed. I specifically paid more to buy Dorman than other brands for a specific purpose, they will last a long time. How do I get a replacement!? It would be better to send it back, but I can't go back.

This product can be very profitable. While I had previously successfully completed this installation, this time one of these sensors kept failing, even after the wonderful support staff issued a replacement. I spent 3 hours removing the 5.3 intake manifold and cleaning everything thoroughly, thoroughly cleaning the threads in the valley cap indentations where the sensors are located. After about an hour of driving, I invariably get a horrible check engine light that indicates common low voltage
