Much better than OEM.

Excellent product fits my car perfectly, as described. Worked great as described. Great price easy install. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to replace the fan motor resistor and connector. What I really like about the plug is that it fits a lot tighter than the OEM. And as far as I know, it's a loose landing that causes these items to short out.

  • Trial period for one year

Easy to install despite GM "Workspace ".

It was easy to install - 2 7/32" screws (or 5.5mm if you have one) removed the part. GM put it in a terrible place (passenger side legroom) BUT not convenient to use hence the 3 stars for 'easy to install'. At least it's relatively quick. RECONNECT THE PLUG TO THE SUPPLIED WIRE HARNESS - if you don't do this, the same short/overheat that fried your old resistor will do the same to the new one.

Not made in China. Suitable for spare parts

The product is made in Taiwan. Excellent quality and price. Glad my fan control box is working again. Chevy had to recall cars that had burned out due to a faulty relay. Not only were some cars made because of a bad product installed by GM, but most of them appear to be. There are many complaints about a faulty relay on Internet forums. Buy this product and install it yourself and save the $$$ your Chevy dealer charges you. This is an easy fix.

Kentucky Fried Plugs.

Fits like a glove. I don't know why some people have complained that the wires are too short here, they are long enough. The wire connectors were the correct size for proper wire crimping. Installation took no more than 15 minutes. Everything in this set fits perfectly without cutting. I've followed the advice of others and cleaned the ground connection under the hood on the passenger side if that was the cause of this issue. See photos of old plugs that have been burned.

*READ* 09 Colorado WT

I bought this after noticing my OEM part was fading on the pins. These wires are not color coded or tagged, so take your time. After installation, my air conditioner still didn't work. Turns out I had a bad connection to the ground wire. The ground cable is located behind the air box above the front inner fender on the passenger side. I removed the screw and wire. I cleaned the greasy wire and polished the junction in the engine bay. Once that was done, my air conditioning worked like a champ…

All fan speeds returned!

Like many other Colorado/Canyon/I-Series truck owners, I lost some fan speed. I used this kit to replace a resistor/wire harness and it's working great now. The only thing I would recommend when installing is to move the places where you connect to the original wiring harness. There isn't much room where this wiring harness runs between the dash bezel and the fan housing behind the glove box. The instructions also say that the blower body needs to be modified with a hot knife. This may be…

Amazing product, no question!

For those who have a common GM problem where the fan won't work when not running at full power, this product is a must and cheaper! The main reason is that this product comes with padding around the fork which prevents wobble. In theory, it shouldn't have to be replaced like all other wiring harnesses. It also comes with shrink clips for easy installation. A bit of YouTube and 20 minutes of your time is enough! $10 self-repair or $300 dealer repair. you decide. The only reason I gave it 4 stars

Good deal for the money. Color coding required.

came quickly and did the right thing. at a good price. Not sure why this is NOT a GMC recall situation? It seems almost everyone who owns a GMC or Chevrolet with this part has had it. Why not 5 out of 5? Well, 1) the wires aren't color coded to match the existing wires, making it a bit difficult to follow the build. 2) the crimp works fine for each wire and is heat shrink wrapped but the second over what I think is ground separates the wire from the port to the actual fan power in the port…
