Oil Leaks For Audi Q5

This connector will not work for 2010 Audi Q5. It will constantly leak, forming a circle about 9 inches in diameter each day.

Does not seal - leaks

The original plug with metal ring was leaking when reinstalled after an oil change. I ordered Dorman 921-131 - it leaks too (I've tried the polished side of the o-ring up and down). The suspect metal of the o-ring is not soft enough for a good seal. Audi World suggests that a copper ring will suffice. Take it to the dealer (75k service is required anyway) for an answer.

Crusher discs don't get crushed they leak

I agree with other reviews on here, this oil plug cost me 2 oil changes. The drain plug (bolt) is the right size, but make sure you insert the tool or bit all the way or you'll rip it off. But the real problem is the pucks. They won't pinch, they won't fit properly, and you'll end up with a drop of oil in your garage.

Pros
  • Oil drain plugs
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
