Description of Dorman C94794 Parking Brake Cable

Inner cables are sheathed and lubricated to provide longer life and improved performance. Flexible casings are completely covered with conduit to prevent corrosion of interior cables. Zinc plated fittings and clips prevent corrosion. Brackets included where applicable.

Subpar Brake Cable, Unsafe to Install

The Dorman parking brake cable was a disappointment for my automotive project.The instructions were unclear and made installation difficult. however the product did have durable materials. Unfortunately, the poor engineering undermines the potential for longevity. A less DIY-oriented person may feel unsafe installing this brake cable..

Excellent Fit - Cable

This is the back of the parking brake cable on a Toyota 4WD or 4 runner pickup. I installed this parking brake cable on a Toyota 4x4 with an extended cab. This also works for normal taxis.
