🔧 Dorman Help 47397 V Colored Cap Assortment Review

I used it on the tip of a car brush. It worked great. I really didn't want to throw away a great brush just because the rubber tip fell off so I bought these and now my brush is back to normal. Holds water well.

Available in multiple sizes. Bought two kits to do EGR and vacuum bleed on my old pickup. I somehow lost one, but in the engine bay it was easy to see what was missing and quickly replace it.

I have to give these three stars because the seller didn't list any cap sizes so the largest was too small for my needs. Sizes: 3/8", 5/16", 1/4", 3/16" and 1/8".

Please note that different sizes can be misleading. The largest of these rubber caps, black, only 9mm (inner diameter)! So if you need a wider one, this choice won't work. I needed at least 15mm, so the search continues.

I don't know how much I trust them, except for air hose plugs for short term projects, definitely not heavy but they keep dust and dirt out of the connectors/hoses while you're working on something mechanical work. For the price I really can't complain. It's good if there's such a set in the tool box.

Bought for a project I was working on. This is an automotive part designed for vacuum lines. That's under the hood where the engine is. Would you suspect it could be Handel's engine bay temperature? nope Melted in 15 minutes of engine operation. Falsely advertising a non-automotive part that fits under the hood of a car but melts within minutes of starting the engine.
