Worked on my 1996 Jeep Cherokee XJ

Bought to replace the front top turn signal socket as I had a crack and when it rained the bulb burned out. The socket fits perfectly into the housing. I also bought replacement amber LED bulbs and WOW what a difference.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons

Loose wires work well for covers and license plate frames

Used to install 2008 to present taillights on a 2003 F250. Fits great with a small cut on the body of the flashlight, but one of those pigtails has a loose wire inside. I had to tie a wire around the lamp socket to keep it connected all the time. Since then it hasn't given me any more problems. Would probably buy again because the alternative takes too long and they are cheap.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Upgrading my Super Duty taillights to new style lights

Upgrading my Super Duty taillights to new style lights. They fit directly with no modifications to the rear lens itself. If you have a first generation Super Duty and want to make this upgrade you will need an extra few inches of wire as the reverse lights were on the bottom and the new rear lenses have the reverse lights on top. I added 194 LED bulbs to complete the set.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Typical Dorman - Frame

Used them like many others to upgrade the taillights on my 2001 f250 2008-2015 style. Didn't cut the tires either. I was able to put them in the wrong slot and twist them to lock as intended. Goes very well with the 921 LED bulb kit. Reason for 4 stars - I don't trust Dorman for most repairs. It's hard to screw up, but it looks like some people are having connection issues. Mine holds up with no issues as long as the connections were nice and tight right out of the box. If it's like most car…

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Can't remember

. The new taillights use a 921 or 912 reverse bulb to mate with this Dorman bracket 85914. The bulb socket only needs a little trimming with a razor blade to fit the new taillight assembly, but it's not difficult. The extra wire length is also helpful as the reversing light now sits on top of the tail light and you will need the length when connecting to the wire harness. PS If you use LED bulbs, you also need resistors to prevent excessive flickering of the bulbs.

Pros
  • . Beautiful packaging.
Cons
  • . Incredible price.

Fits Grand AM front side marker lamp 99-05

Exactly what I was looking for! I replaced a pair of headlight assemblies (3 socket) on my 2001 Pontiac Grand AM with another pair of headlight assemblies (4 socket). The sockets for the side marker lights were previously cut from my factory wiring harness and hardwired directly to the side marker LEDs built into the old headlight assemblies. This item allowed me to install my new headlight assembly and return to my car's original 4 socket configuration. Revain does not list this item as…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Upgrade available
