Flawed Brake Components Ruin Ride

Unfortunately, these automotive brake parts did not live up to their expectations. While they were fairly easy to install, the braking performance was subpar at best. The pros include the easy installation, but the cons outweigh them with poor brake response and reliability. Save yourself the headache and invest in a higher quality brake master cylinder for your performance car.

Pros
  • High-quality construction
Cons
  • Requires professional installation

Made it work in spares

I bought this for a 1996 Accord 4 cylinder 5 speed with ABS. It was the wrong part for my car. The rear mounting hole was too small for the line on the car. I cut the line on the machine and put on the correct fitting that would fit this master cylinder. After I adjusted it, it worked flawlessly.

Pros
  • New not rebuilt
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Installed - there were problems with the assembly, changed.

Installed - There was a problem with the faucet, faucet replaced. After driving 5 km, the brakes are blocked. The piston appears to be too long and the brake fluid heats up and expands, causing the brakes to lock up. When I sent it back I was charged for shipping! Spend many hours installing and uninstalling. For a few more dollars I could go to my local auto parts store and buy the correct master cylinder.

Pros
  • Reservoirs, caps and liquid sensors are included with most units.
Cons
  • Faulty
