Poor seal surface finish

The sealing surfaces were not machined to the same smoothness as the original Toyota part and therefore did not seal fully. There is a slight oil leak so new gaskets will need to be purchased and the part reinstalled after the sealing faces have been machined. I would not buy this part again due to lack of quality control.

Poor packaging - engine cooling and air conditioning

There were 5 pieces in the bag. A coolant line, engine-side gasket, coolant-side gasket, and two flange covers for protection during shipping. It would be nice if the packer actually used flange covers. I suspect this would have prevented one of my pads from bending during shipping. Fingers crossed it doesn't drip. I'll give a 5 star rating if my oil doesn't leak after 6 months.

Pros
  • Robust workmanship
Cons
  • Operating speed

Cheap parts aren't worth the hassle - buy from TOYOTA!

The part to be assembled had a micro hole. Oil Everywhere - AGAIN! So I ordered parts from Toyota. Parts are not comparable. Toyota part made 100% better - weight and quality are top. The time it takes to repair parts is invested in the actual business. Not happy I had to pay someone for repairs and ended up paying them double. Skip the headache lesson.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Purchased as new used

Purchased as new used. No pads, no big deal. I put on the gaskets I bought. Ran home (15 miles one way) and found I was leaking. The next day I took it off and found it had bad welds. Luckily, Toyota stocked an updated version of it. I returned this one. Compared to Toyota, I wouldn't take it again. Not the best design in terms of flange/tube area and it has larger tubes than Toyota. Buy an OEM for this important item. Don't risk losing your oil in seconds.

Perfect solution for 2007 Sienna oil coolers

I'm a little surprised to find this product on Revain but it was the best price I've found in the Saw internet best delivery option and it fit my 2007 Toyota Sienna perfectly. This is a retrofit of the factory fitted rubber hose oil cooler on the vehicle as the rubber hoses are leaking. Once we lost all the oil from the engine through a rubber hose. Never again! I should note that one of the mounting nuts is very difficult to access due to the Toyota engine design. For this nut alone I had to…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models
