WILL NOT FIT well for electric door lock

Same problem as incompetent ebay sellers. DOES NOT FIT THE VEHICLE OFFERED. Needed to replace the driver's door actuator on my 2007 Mazda 3. Revain "confirmed" installation after stripping. Not suitable. Came close after removing the mount but results in one drive cable going to the handle instead of two, among other things. Now I have to waste my time and reinstall the old one I pulled out for comparison just to keep my door closed. Thank you Swiss.

It works and is better quality than OEM

I don't know why the original didn't work on my daughter's 2008 Mazda3. In fact they all failed so I replaced the driver and passenger side with bouncer drives. These parts are actually better than the original. They have a metal mount if the OEM is mostly plastic. The best part is that both fit, both work and solve the problem. Replacing them isn't easy, so make sure you have spare fasteners (they break), door panel removal tools, patience, and a manual or video to help you out.

It is necessary to transfer the existing stop cable to this new part.

I thought it would not fit a 2007 Mazda 3s as only 1 wire was connected. Then I realized I had to move the missing cable (the one for the lock) and attach it to this new part. I'm not sure why the new part has metal braces, maybe they just protect the component. All you have to do is remove the metal brackets (2 screws). The pins in the harness connection didn't seem to match the original (it has 1 pin less). But it fits very well and the part works. I hope this helps anyone who thinks this…
