OK, not very powerful, there are better alternatives

I have several Bluetooth speakers. I often use them with a 3.5 cable for computer recording or iPad playback. I have an original JBL Flip and Flip Mini rated at 10w stereo and 3w. I also have a stereo badge, small but mighty. The performance is different for different products. I considered buying a newer battery powered Flip but researched many alternatives. I chose this DOSS based on reviews and other articles. I was hoping the sound would be as loud as the JBL Flip at 10 watts per channel…

Like a Touch model, but better!

I was hesitant to buy another portable Bluetooth speaker because the Doss Soundbox Touch works so well. This speaker did not disappoint. It weighs more than the Touch model and is physically larger, but not by much. The textured sides give it a snug feel and prevent it from falling when being moved from room to room. The front grille feels pretty stiff, but I don't want to put it to the test. In the box you get; USB to micro USB charging cable, 3.5mm male to male headphone cable and instruction

Sound Quality OK

If you only have a laptop speaker or you are buying it as a phone speaker, then this is a good buy for you. Don't expect heavy bass. The extra bass function seems doubtful, it is better to make the equalizer settings on the mobile phone or PC/laptop. Some tracks that rely heavily on bass (fairly rare, I'd say you should be fine 95% of the time) will cause the speaker to clip those high frequency bands, making it feel like you're turning on Extra Bass . The function will toggle on and off…
