Nice line for $$

They match the description - good dock lines. You'll need some light to cast them, but do your thing and don't break the bank.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Useless features

Great value Dockline

Compare this to what you get at West Marine - you get four docklines of the same quality for the price of one. Definitely recommend

Pros

Economy line is good for docking and anchoring gear

Looks like an economy line. Feels and handles like any other nylon double braid. Only used it as a berth for two months. Still looks new. It actually takes six months or more to really appreciate it.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • I'll add later

Exactly what I needed.

Great price for 4 lines. Exactly what you need for a small boat. I use with a 19ft bow and they are perfect. Just pay attention to the details of the product when purchasing. This really applies to everything related to online shopping.

  • Ease of use

Good lines for tying up the boat!

These are attractive black lines. Good value for money. At the end there is a hole for an eyelet that allows you to quickly attach the spike to the loop. I use them on a cruiser with a 26ft cabin. The last two months they have shown themselves very well.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • No Automatic

Work as they should.

There is not much to say about this product. That works great. Looks great am happy. The reason for the 4 stars is that they are only used for travel connections, so not really for everyday use. Very good quality and great look with our white boot.

Good strong lines, worth the money.

Booked her for a weekend on Lake of the Ozarks, rented a boathouse and wanted extra dock lines. I ended up using them to keep my boat tied up on a slipway near the main canal all weekend. Anyone who's been there over the bank holiday weekend knows it's more like being out on the open sea with all those boats and staying awake. Keeps my boat secure on the slipway, doesn't snap or unravel and the lines were nice and long.

  • Best in the Niche

Terrible durability

In a calm water bay, I expect my docks to last a lot longer than this one. In just a few weeks, the outer shell could be seen torn and the inner line exposed. After a month or two, the inner line was fully exposed and soon the line broke. I completed all four docks in less than 6 months. It is absolutely ridiculous when the previous lines have lasted for years and have only been replaced in connection with normal rotation. Don't waste your time with these lines.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction

perfect for our new 18.5ft boat! I wanted the lines of the tie to match, and now we're doing it. Seems to be good quality for $10 a piece, well spliced, no complaints so far. I would buy them again anytime but hope they last a long time. And the black color is to protect them from dirt, stains and the like. Bonus! I've fished in Alaska for many, many years and most fishing line was what it was, but it was always nice to catch line from another boat and you could tell they took pride in their…
