🚗 Complete Double Din Dash Kit with Harness and Antenna for 2002-2005 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 Review

Installed on my 2005 Ram 1500. It was very easy to install and looks great. Easier to install the double din touch screen and looks like it came straight from the store. Very happy with this product.

Fairly easy to install. I spent about an hour from start to finish. You will need to pull out the Dremel plastic "shelf" under the OEM radio in the dash to install the dual noise. As long as you have a dremel, sand down the mounting points, they say you can then use a screwdriver, but dodge isn't known for their hard plastic. Nevertheless, high quality and a perfect fit. Very happy with the result.

This is a good installation system for the price. Everything came up and down as it should. I got a 5⭐️ based on it but I had one disappointment. The brackets that attach to the stereo are plastic and fairly flexible. I would have preferred a steel mount even if it meant an extra $5-10. Double din radios tend to be heavy and usually have a bunch of wires on the back. This causes the brace to flex a bit and you really have to wiggle in place a bit.

Honestly I only have good things to say about this set. Good quality dash kit. Gap. (Also includes an accessory to limit the gap if your screen is a bit smaller) The included wiring harness and antenna make it an exceptional asset. However, normally the transition from single din to double din is extremely easy as the OEM single din dash comes loose and you just put in a new dual din dash, unfortunately Dodge didn't make an OEM part like this.
