Love the double sided tape

It works so well on vinyl plank floors I ordered more to renovate the bathroom it worked fine. I wanted to screen my porch and since I'm alone I don't have anyone pierce the screen before I can staple it. This tape held it for me and was just what I needed.

Went like clockwork!

Okay this is amazing. I bought some vinyl decals to cover my kitchen island but the adhesive on the back wasn't tacky enough to fully adhere, especially in the corners. So I took this material and applied it to the corners and edges and the tile stuck really well! Worked exactly as expected.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Slightly torn

This thread is no joke!

This is the best product. I used it to glue some tiles that were lying on a dusty floor and didn't stick. This tape saved me so much money and solved the problem. It's durable and well glued, it won't come off. It's not dirty either. I tried tile adhesive before buying these tapes and it was very dirty, it's not. I highly recommend it!

Not working for my application

I bought this to stick something on the wall. The wall was textured so this tape didn't fit at all. If you are not familiar with this type of tape, it is a VERY VERY thin strip of tape that is reinforced with threads along its entire length. Removing the backing paper is kind of a pain in the butt, and if you use scissors to cut the strip, your scissors will stick together. Use a stationery knife. Hand breaking is not an option due to the threads embedded in the tape and the thin material will…

Poor overall product

I was buying double sided tape from Melca when it suddenly disappeared from the site. I bought this product on recommendation when I bought 2 garage floor mats. I used up all of the Melca Tape on one and applied QEP to the other. I found it flimsy, wrinkled easily and stuck to itself. The floor mat in the garage that I taped off with Melca Tape is holding up well. QEP is not very good. The floor mat creases and bends in several places. I just ordered Gorilla double sided tape as a replacement…

Strong stick! on flooring

I'm doing a mobile home/camper van conversion and used it to glue our plywood underbody to the rigid foam insulation underneath. I tested the adhesion of a small area of subfloor and the insulation started to peel off the floor before the plywood (I used Loctite PL300 to attach the insulation to the van floor). To cut it I just used a utility knife to cut the strip after laying it down, no problem. Scissors would probably give me problems considering how sticky the glue is. Eventually I may end

This is a wide web of thin strong threads with glue on both sides

Not a classic double-sided tape. Actually, it's not a movie at all. This is a wide web of thin strong threads with glue on both sides. This means you don't have the extra thickness that tape usually comes with, it sticks very strongly even to uneven surfaces yet is easy to peel off (by rolling). fingers) as soon as you want to pull something off. The downside is that it's difficult to apply: it sticks to whatever you cut it with, tangles and sticks to itself easily, and requires care and…

to stickiness to TENACIOUS

I put vinyl wrap over new plywood in a small bathroom. I stuck the adhesive tape around the edges of the room, around the heating register and around the toilet flange. Obviously this tape is very thin and suitable for sticking smooth surfaces, not textured ones. I found that this material is very sticky. It cuts well with scissors lubricated with a non-stick agent. I used silicone spray. Maybe Pam or WD-40 or a light coat of oil will do. Planning is important; You just can't screw up and…
