I'm new to knife sharpening but this is a good start. I had several dull knives. With this product they are all sharp now. One thing to keep in mind depending on the condition of your knives. I spent about 20 minutes on a 1000 grit and 5 minutes on a 6000 grit. Buy this if you want your knives to last.

Great sharpening tool. Attention due to the low price and good quality of the stand and the large number of parts included. It works very well and all my knives feel like new again. You simply put the stone in the water and move the blade over the wet stone. Would recommend to anyone who wants to sharpen their knives 🔪.

I have had several knife sharpeners ranging from suction cups to electric and none compare to this one. It's so easy to use and the results are amazing. I sharpened my 27 knives in about 30 minutes and damn they are sharp. If you're looking for a good pencil sharpener, do yourself a favor and order one here. I wish I could try this from the start, I've spent time and money on others who did half the work.

This is still a 5 star product for value for money. My only gripe is that the padding on the bottom of the bamboo holder feels more like plastic than rubber. This causes it to slip a bit when wet (which it always will). Otherwise the stone is of high quality, the instructions are clear. The grain on the side of the stone also looks high-quality and does not rub off easily.

Update: I got out my whetstone to sharpen my kitchen knife for the second time. And the whetstone wears out MUCH quicker than I thought. The stone is very soft and brittle. I expected this to last for years (like my last one). All the scratches, chips, dents and dents you can see in my photos. Yes, a correction stone is included. But I didn't know that this sharpening stone requires maintenance after EVERY use. Speaking of the correction stone, I didn't test it the first time. The correction…
