Doug's Headers DEC250ATD 2.5-Inch Stainless Steel Electric Cut-out with Turn Down Function Review

The customer brought his Rigid Sportser to do something with the new exhaust because he didn't like the new muffler sticking out like a sore thumb. This matches the aftermarket header perfectly with a slight modification.

They are listed as stainless steel but have a small magnet that sticks to them which leads me to believe they are not real. The appearance is more like a traditional steel exhaust. I don't recommend them if you want your trip to look great.

This hose did not fit my 2.5 inch pipe. The description should be more detailed. The inside diameter of my existing exhaust is 2.5 inches and the outside diameter of my existing exhaust is 2 5/8 inches. This channel exactly matches the ID and Od of my existing channel. I want it to slip through. Also, I don't see a way to contact the seller, so I can't contact him to explain the problem and see if he can help me find the right size.

, I can say they work and will look great on my truck! The only reason for 4 stars is because as you can see in the picture I only received 1 clip. One of the bars had its individual packaging broken open, as if someone needed a clip and not a bar. I'm not the type to get too frustrated with such a missing part as I can get it from my local auto parts store but 5 stars if all the parts were there. I can't wait to install and listen to Episode 40 right out of the box. 😎
