Ink makes you feel better

Absolutely gorgeous colors. When mixed with other brands of watercolors in containers or tubes, they emerge and enhance their brilliance. A note on black. It's still watercolor, so don't expect an intense black. For these purposes it is better to use Chinese ink. (the same with white). I used them mainly to help other colors (to lighten and darken) and not as stand alone coloring in my projects.

Good Watercolors

These watercolors are not as bright as I would like and I won't leave them as I prefer more color. F. Martin's liquid watercolors look student-level in combination with various paints. Although they seem a bit overpriced compared to what you get. They are extremely easy to use and mixing colors is easy for a beginner. A drop of this, two drops of this. It's that easy. It would also be nice for large paintings and trying to match your color blends.

Professional Artist: They are VERY BEAUTIFUL even when dry!

Beeeeeeeeeeh, juicy colors! I am a professional artist and have countless watercolor stamps. They always fade and become dull compared to when they were first applied... Not these! They are long-lasting, intense and lightfast once dry! I can't wait to get more varieties when I can! They work beautifully and smoothly with their ink! Note: Use a little first to see how much you really need. That saves money and time! A tiny droplet goes a very, very long way! …That's great!

Great way to paint with watercolors.

These liquid watercolors work really well, contain lots of pigment and couldn't be easier to use. I have been a professional artist for several decades and paint with water-soluble oils, gouache (opaque watercolor) and watercolor. I've spent thousands of dollars on tubes of paint that dry out or paint that cracks and falls out; No problem for Dr. Ph. Martins. There is so much pigment in these paints I wouldn't classify them as "student quality" there's a little enough. The included dropper…

Great watercolor set.

Got these as a birthday gift after watching some card maker YouTube videos and fell in love with them straight away. Rating is for a 1/2 bottle set (also available in 1 ounce bottle sets). You are super focused. I put a few drops on the palette, then dip them in and add them to the water on the palette. You are so bright and sweet. I think Quinacridone Magenta is my favorite. True color is displayed diagonally in the color map. It took me 6 hours to finish the spreadsheet but it was worth every

My new watercolor passion!

Watercolor is my medium of choice, although I do a variety of art forms. I've been a big fan of M. Graham paints for a number of years and usually turn to them when I want to paint. I recently stumbled across Sanazhana's art on Youtube/Facebook and after seeing her drawings I just knew I had to try this. It's safe to say that they meet and exceed all of my expectations! The colors are really rich and vibrant! There are enough colors in this range that you can mix almost all of them. There is…

Cons
  • Not bad, but...

I ordered all 3 sets together and this caught my eye. Set 1 is not made at the same location as Set 2 and 3. Set 1 is made in California while set 2 and 3 are made in Colorado. I don't know if they recently moved their manufacturing facility to California, but I checked online and their official website says they are headquartered in California. They say the lack of quality control of the kit 1. I had to make an exchange because the first kit that came was awful. The first set that arrived had…
