Don't waste your money and time! I had a really bad knotted knot that I was trying to untie for at least a month and it only got worse that month so I bought this stuff and it only helped a little and after hours of work it didn't help. something on the bad part of the knot and tons of hair broke off. BUT then I tried soaking it in apple cider vinegar and using Cowboy Magic Horse Detangler and it came out in literally 5 minutes!

I have Caucasian hair, dreadlocks are about 5 years old. I used this as I said wet, terrified horror at Zara and let it dry. I started combing either slightly wet or completely dry. It softens and smoothes fear. Then I SLOWLY select the dreadlocks with a comb with a rat tail at the very bottom. Eventually you should be able to get a full comb if you dig through it, but you should only start with the tip of the tooth/rat tail. This makes combing much easier and less traumatic. The hair is smooth
