When you first take it out of the box it's clear that the quality isn't as high as other brands we've used before. I chose it because it had "auto-closing" and the gate opened by itself in both directions. The movement is stiff and quite clumsy. I can handle it, but wish it was smoother. This thing cannot be installed. I could never line up the gate properly. I even contacted customer service and they just told me I need to do better with tension arms too.
