Short Life - Scratch Brushes

I've tried going easy on these brushes with lower RPM, less pressure etc but they still don't last very long. The brushes seem to disappear and the longest I've extracted from them is about 5 minutes of work.

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • Empty

Great product to have in the basic kit

Stainless steel is far superior to the cheaper carbon steel versions. I used the flat ones and liked them so much I ordered these bowl shaped ones to access curved spaces.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Negative impression

Handy brushes for scratch brushes

I use these brushes all the time. My only problem is that they don't last as long as I'd like. I use them to clean the various gear teeth on a lawnmower drive. They work great but the bristles fly off when used. They decay quickly.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Not as thick as other brushes

Worked well but not for long

I have only used this brush twice and after the second use it was useless. I've used it to clean up corrosion on 12v battery terminals and rusty floors and it didn't hold up, but before it fell apart it worked as expected, my only concern is the short lifespan.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Only available in white

Machete rust removal project

Both lasted a total of 3 hours at their recommended 15,000rpm setting before being sharpened. I thought I would get more use out of them. So, do yourself a favor, buy 2 boxes or more if you have a big project.

Pros
  • Abrasives and finishes
Cons
  • Some bugs

Fits in tight spaces, durable

This item is amazing. I used it to remove corrosion and rust from guitar parts off a guitar I found rotting on the street. It's sometimes difficult to hold the Dremel tool when the wire brush is spinning, but I had no problem loosening the wire or sticking or smoothing the whole tool. Now the guitar works great.

Pros
  • Scratching Brushes
Cons
  • Small Items

Better than fakes, but still too weak.

I would really prefer thicker wires. They don't really remove much material and will bend even with very careful and light use. The inevitable vagrants that fly away will lodge in your skin, but not very deeply (wear goggles), but being steel they don't suck themselves into a vacuum very well and will often land on the ground for unsuspecting people left behind. later a barefoot person or a person with socks. Fake brands are even worse as they scatter a lot more detail, even at low speeds, so…

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Damaged
